Tim Boots is a freelance writer, journalist and researcher based in Melbourne. His work has appeared in The Sydney Morning Herald and New Matilda, and he was previously a regular columnist on Australian politics for Disposable Words. He also regularly pinch-hits as a researcher for The Margaret Throsby Midday Interview on ABC Classic FM. And despite evidence to the contrary, he doesn’t particularly enjoy talking about himself in the third person. He would also like Richmond FC to win another flag before he dies.
